1 - Krystall

Here you'll meet Krystall, the leader of the Razor Angle thugs. She will ask that you kill Rotten William, the leader of the Darkalley Shivs, found at area #4. If you choose to kill Rotten William, you will be rewarded with experience and asked to kill Blackrose at area #2. You can kill Blackrose as well for another experience boost. Additionally, you can search the tent next to Krystall for one of the rings needed at area #5.


2 - Blackrose

Blackrose will ask you to kill either Krystall (at area #1) or Rotten William (at area #4), depending on your current alignment. No matter which he asks you to kill first, he will ask you to kill the other afterwards. You can gain an experience boost if you kill either of them, but when both are killed, Blackrose will offer you a duel. You can either convince him that you are immortal or kill him.


3 - Aoskar Temple

This is a ruined temple to Aoskar, a long forgotten god. Inside is a priest by the name of Aola. If you are working on the "box from Mar" quest (in the northwest portion of the Hive), you will eventually end up here to have Aola remove the box's curse. Aola will open the box, send the demon inside to another plane, and then grab a ruby from within the box.

If you visit Jarym in Ragpicker's Square, he will ask that you find him a ruby (which is, of course, the one Aola plucked from the box). Ask Aola for the ruby and he will sell it to you for 300. Bring the ruby back to Jarym for an experience boost. Additionally, you can join Aola's religion. If you do so, you will be mazed by the Lady of Pain when you leave. This is worthwhile, however, so refer to our "Player's Maze" walkthrough for information on how to get out.


4 - Rotten William

Here you will meet Rotten William, the leader of the Darkalley Shivs. He will ask that you kill Krystall, the leader of the Razor Angle thugs, found at area #1. If you choose to kill Krystall, you will be rewarded with experience and asked to kill Blackrose at area #2. You can kill Blackrose as well for another experience boost. However, Rotten William will attack you even if you perform these two tasks for him. If you are looking for the rings needed at area #5, you can find two of them in the tents near Rotten William.


5 - Rauk's Rings

Inside this building you will be confronted by a man named Rauk who will tell you that he has lost three rings that he needs - a bronze, silver, and gold one. You can find two of the rings in the tents near Rotten William at area #4 and the third in the tent near Krystall at area #1. Once you return the rings to Rauk, he will give them to the mages standing towards the back of the building. They will perform a ritual which summons a Lim-Lim that will proceed to slaughter them all. Rauk will then decide to keep the Lim-Lim as a pet (you can kick the Lim-Lim too, but this will make them both hostile).

Before leaving, search the combat area to find a Ring of the Traveler and some scrolls on one of the mages.


6 - Exit

This exit leads to the southwest portion of the Hive.


7 - Exit

This exit leads to the northeast portion of the Hive.
